Who we are

Walker Landscapes & Construction Ltd decides how your details are used, so under UK data protection law we are the "controller". You can reach us at walker_landscapes@outlook.com or on 07856 162534.

What we collect

When you send the quote form, we receive your name, email address, phone number, your town or postcode and what you tell us about your project.

We don't use analytics cookies. We only use Google's advertising cookies if you accept them (see Cookies below).

To stop spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile. It checks that a person, not a bot, is sending the form, and processes technical details about your browser and connection to do so.

Why we use it

We use your details to reply to you and to arrange your free quote. Our lawful bases are that you've asked us to do this before any agreement between us, and our legitimate interest in answering the requests people send us.

If you accept cookies, we use Google's ad tag to see which of our ads lead to quote requests and calls. Our lawful basis for that is your consent, which you can take back at any time.

We won't add you to a mailing list or pass your details to anyone to market to you.

Who else handles your details

Some of this may happen outside the UK. We only use providers that offer the safeguards UK law requires for that.

How long we keep it

If we don't end up working together, we delete your request within 12 months. If you become a customer, we keep your details while we work together, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Resend keeps its record of each email for 30 days.

Cookies

We advertise on Google. If you press "Accept" on the cookie banner, this site loads Google's ad tag. It sets cookies so Google can tell us when someone who clicked one of our ads goes on to ask for a quote or call us, which shows us which ads work. Google receives details such as the pages you visit here, the ad you clicked, and technical details about your browser and device. Google's cookies for this last up to 90 days. We don't use them to follow you with ads on other sites.

If you press "Reject", or don't choose, the tag doesn't load and no advertising cookies are set. You can change your mind at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

We remember your choice in your browser's storage on this device, so we don't ask on every page. It isn't sent to us or anyone else.

Google also uses this information for its own purposes, as it explains at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, or object to how we use them. Email walker_landscapes@outlook.com and we'll reply within a month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If we change how we use your details, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
